He has deep expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, financial operations and organisational reporting, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Brendan is adept at simplifying complex financial environments, strengthening processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all core financial functions.

He has extensive experience with TechnologyOne and other financial systems, with particular strengths in process redesign, system optimisation and supporting councils through technological and operational uplift.

Brendan is also a capable and people-focused leader, known for building internal capability, guiding teams through change and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels of Council. His calm, collaborative approach supports clearer decision-making and improved financial outcomes.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Accounting and is a CPA.
