Brendan is an agile and experienced finance professional with over 25 years in the local government sector. His extensive background includes senior financial roles and leadership positions, where he has successfully managed complex financial operations and transformational projects.

Most recently, Brendan was instrumental in delivering Logan City Council's Digital Transformation Program, delivering a transformational technological and capability uplift centred on the TechnologyOne ERP. His expertise spans financial systems implementation, business process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Brendan previously held senior leadership roles at Logan City Council, overseeing critical functions such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable, corporate banking, and debt management. He has also been responsible for the delivery of the annual financial statements and budget.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Accounting and is a CPA. A passionate people leader, he excels in fostering team development and improving operational efficiency, consistently aiming to enhance community outcomes through strategic financial management.
