Jo has held key positions in various organisations, including Charters Towers Regional Council and Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council, where she has demonstrated her ability to drive financially responsible decision making, engage stakeholders, and implement effective financial strategies. 

Jo's core strengths include managing complex financial operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, and leading cross-functional teams. She has successfully reduced rate debtors, increased cash flows, and implemented strategic budgeting approaches. Jo is dedicated to improving financial sustainability and service delivery in the local government sector. 

Jo holds a Master of Professional Accounting and is a CPA. She has also completed various short courses in asset management, risk management, and leadership.
